How to clean your browser from extensions and add-ons
We recommend turning off/removing extensions from the browser, because some extensions may directly or indirectly affect the platform work. You should install extensions from verified developers only.
Google Chrome
- In the browser menu select the «Extensions» -> «Manage extensions» (or simply type the following text in the address bar of your browser: chrome://extensions/ and press Enter).
- Click «Disable» (or «Remove») all extensions.
- If you can't determine what an extension does, or you don't expect to use it again, you should uninstall it.
Mozilla Firefox
- Open the browser menu and select the «Add-ons and themes» option (or button like puzzle, or simply type the following text in the address bar of your browser: about:addons and press Enter).
- Select the «Extensions» section in the page that opens.
- Click «Disable» (or «Remove») all extensions.
- If you can't determine what an extension does, or you don't expect to use it again, you should uninstall it.
Opera
- Open the Opera menu and select «Extensions» → «Extensions».
- Click «Disable» (or «Delete» ✖) all extensions.
- If you can't determine what an extension does, or you don't expect to use it again, you should uninstall it.
Safari
- Choose Safari → «Preferences», then click «Extensions».
- To turn off an extension, deselect its checkbox ✓.
- To uninstall an extension, select the extension and click the «Uninstall» button.
- If you can't determine what an extension does, or you don't expect to use it again, you should uninstall it.
