How to clean your browser from extensions and add-ons

We recommend turning off/removing extensions from the browser, because some extensions may directly or indirectly affect the platform work. You should install extensions from verified developers only.

Google Chrome

  1. In the browser menu select the «Extensions» -> «Manage extensions» (or simply type the following text in the address bar of your browser: chrome://extensions/ and press Enter).
  2. Click «Disable» (or «Remove») all extensions.
  3. If you can't determine what an extension does, or you don't expect to use it again, you should uninstall it.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open the browser menu and select the «Add-ons and themes» option (or button like puzzle, or simply type the following text in the address bar of your browser: about:addons and press Enter).
  2. Select the «Extensions» section in the page that opens.
  3. Click «Disable» (or «Remove») all extensions.
  4. If you can't determine what an extension does, or you don't expect to use it again, you should uninstall it.

Opera

  1. Open the Opera menu and select «Extensions» → «Extensions».
  2. Click «Disable» (or «Delete» ✖) all extensions.
  3. If you can't determine what an extension does, or you don't expect to use it again, you should uninstall it.

Safari

  1. Choose Safari → «Preferences», then click «Extensions».
  2. To turn off an extension, deselect its checkbox ✓.
  3. To uninstall an extension, select the extension and click the «Uninstall» button.
  4. If you can't determine what an extension does, or you don't expect to use it again, you should uninstall it.
